Dudley came to Gunyah to live in June 2023. He was no longer wanted by his human, who is a butcher. It wasn’t uncommon for pets who had passed their use by date from here to end up as Sunday roast.

Thankfully a last minute change of heart and a call to the Sanctuary now sees Dudley able to live his life out peacefully at Gunyah.

It took no time at all for Dudley and Bluey to become close friends. Bluey lost his best friend Trevor the turkey in 2022, so it’s been lovely to see this friendship emerge.
