I’m really happy with how Kurt is healing after having an aggressive tumour removed earlier this week. The growth was right next to the corner of his eye.
Unfortunately Kurt’s cancer spread a long time ago, so we will never be able to get on top of it. He has already lost one eye to another tumour some years ago.
The main reason for this removal was for Kurt’s safety. As it was growing quickly, had he rubbed it on something (which he actually did whilst waiting for the vet), he would end up in pain, with potential injury to the area as well as blood loss. It was much better to get rid of it while Dr Kasee was here, after he’d received local and follow up pain relief.
