Goat

Moby came to Gunyah to live in 2013, as a very sick kid. Born into a place of profit, trucks would turn up to ship adult goats off, without any regard for the kids who were left behind.

Thankfully this time around, some caring humans saw that several tiny goat kids were now without their mums, and they scooped them up and got them to safety. Moby and Venus were among those lucky enough to be saved.

Both were critically ill, with viral infections, and they had more than likely not had the vital colostrum needed to set their immune systems up for life.

After weeks of around the clock care, where it was touch and go as to whether they would be strong enough to pull through, they both fought and beat the odds.
